Our Private Hand Building Group Workshops are the perfect workshop for Anniversaries, Birthdays, Work Gatherings or if you just want to learn pottery with your friends!
Get your hands stuck into some clay and have a laugh while you create!
Students will be guided to create their own personalised hug mug!
This workshop is perfect for those who want to start small with a single workshop over 90 minutes to create with clay. Your pieces will then be glazed and fired by us and ready for collection around 3 weeks later.
Our Private Group Single sessions include all materials, firings and glazes.
Are you a beginner? Don’t Fret because our teachers are here to guide you and we want to help you to create something that you can keep forever!
Session Details
Duration: 90 minutes (Includes building session. Your pieces will be glazed by us)
Cost: $85.00 per person - includes building session
Availability: Mondays-Sundays. Please send us an email via the contact form below to enquire whether your date of choice is available.
Includes: Materials, clay, firings, and glazing of your pieces.
Class sizes: Min 2 people, Max 30.

Private Hand Building Group Workshop FAQs
Can you BYO Drinks and Nibbles? A: Yes you certainly can! Just make sure to bring toothpicks for your nibbles so that you can eat while you create without getting clay on your crackers! We have wine glasses, knives and water available for your use at the studio.
Does the cost of the workshop include clay, glazing and firing? A: Yes! The cost of your workshop covers your hand building session to create your pieces with clay. Your pieces will then be fired in the kiln and glazed by us in your choice of our available glaze colours for this workshop.
Where are the workshops located? A: All of our public workshops are held on site in our Sunshine Coast pottery workshop.
Can children attend private group bookings? A: Yes! Our private group bookings are open to all ages, including your fur babies!
Do you glaze the pieces for us? A: Yes we do!
Can we make something different in the private workshop? A: Yes you can! We can make any of our workshops into private workshops (excluding our 5 week course). The price will vary depending on changes.
Can we take our pieces home straight away? A: In the first session you will create with the clay, the clay will then air dry for 5 - 7 days in our studio. Your pieces will then be fired and glazed by us. Contact us 3 weeks post workshop to arrange collection of your creations.
*Please note finished works must be collected within 4 weeks after your session. Non-collected works are donated to charity. If you need longer to collect please notify us during your session or via email.
