MAKE A MUG WITH A HANDLE

Here’s something you can have a handle on! Join us to create your own mug with a handle in this workshop for beginners.

Learn to create your own mug with a handle in this workshop. In the first session you will create your mug from clay, guided by our teachers and using our special tools. In the second session you will glaze your creations!

Our Make a Mug workshops include all the materials, firings and the cost of your class includes both sessions too!

Are you new to pottery? Don’t Fret because our teachers are here to guide you and we want to help you to create something that you can keep forever!

Session Details

Duration: 2x 120 minute sessions (building session & glazing session)
Cost: $80.00 per person - includes both sessions

Please make sure that you note your second session into your diary for glazing! Your second session will be at the same time a fortnight from your making session. A re-booking fee applies if you do not attend your designated glazing session. Please email us before booking if you wish to change your glazing date.

Once your pieces are completed you will find your name on our READY FOR COLLECTION page using your workshop type and date.

Includes: Materials, clay, firings, and glazes.


 

Make a Mug FAQs

Can kids come to this workshop? A: This workshop is suitable for anyone 14 years or older.

Where are the workshops located? A: All of our public workshops are held on site in our Sunshine Coast pottery workshop.

Does the price include both sessions? A: The price of your workshop includes 2x 120 minute sessions.

Can we take our pieces home straight away? A: In the first session you will create with the clay, the clay will then air dry for 5 - 7 days in our studio. Your pieces will then be bisque fired in the kiln, and then you will come back to glaze them in your second session. After that, they will be fired again. You can contact us 3 weeks post workshop to arrange collection of your finished creations!

Once your pieces are completed you will find your name on our READY FOR COLLECTION page using your workshop type and date.

Please note finished works must be collected within 4 weeks post glazing. Non-collected works are donated to charity. If you need longer to collect please notify us during your session or via email.
